Open-knit and fleshy aromas of red plum, mocha, herbs and berry compote are followed by a supple and smooth palate with fresh red plum, redcurrant, musky flavours, fine slinky textures and underlying mocha notes. Intense dark plum, blackberry, red cherry, dark chocolate, mocha aromas provide impressive upfront appeal followed by an inky textured palate with plentiful dark plum, raspberry fruits, fine slinky textures and integrated fresh acidity. Well-made wine. Now- 2028 Hayes Family Wines Prayer Garden Grenache 2021 G 92 Medium-deep crimson. Plenty of red fruits to start here with red cherry, redcurrant aromas with a nice dash of cola. Well concentrated and inky textured, there are more gentle red cherry and redcurrant flavours suppoted by fine lacy dry tannins and juicy acidity, which make for a very attractive, early-drinking grenache style. Now-2025 Hayes Family Wines Fromm Grenache 2021 G 92 Medium crimson in colour and immediately approachable with fresh musky plum, herb garden aromas and flavours. Smooth and round with plentiful juicy fruit notes, it is a good example of the slurpy, early- drinking grenache style. Now-2025 Head Wines Head Red Grenache 2021 G 92 Medium-deep crimson. A well-pitched early-drinking Barossa Grenache style showing intense red cherry, cranberry, red plum aromas with minerally notes. Richly concentrated sweet red fruit and inky flavours, fine chalky loose-knit textures and fresh long acidity provide an attractive palate and finish.
