Finishes chalky firm with excellent mineral length. Now-2026 Maverick GSM 2020 G 93 Medium crimson. Attractive redcurrant, red plum, red liquorice aromas with camomile, herb notes. Medium-bodied and juicy with plentiful red cherry, redcurrant, spicy flavours, supple fine chalky textures and underlying smoky savoury notes. Finishes crisp and minerally. Now John Duval Wines Concilio Greanche Shiraz 2021 G 92 Even with its user-friendly style, this wine delivers. It’s fun but a little bit serious too, with a blend of plummy, red liquorice fruits with nice touches of spice and earth, with fruit generous and ready to go. The palate is more in the jubey spectrum with fleshy red and dark fruits with an attractive earthy, spicy edge plus quite a long and delightfully silky finish. Great early-drinking style. Tscharke A Thing of Beauty Grenache 2020 G 92 Medium colour. Pure raspberry, redcurrant, dark plum aromas with hints of white flowers and aniseed. A lighter bodied wine with raspberry, redcurrant fruits, underlying savoury/walnutty notes and fine lacy dry textures. Finishes chewy firm and minerally. Now-2025 Barons of Barossa Triplex Grenache 2021 G 92 Medium-deep crimson. A fun wine here showing genuine subtlety of flavour with intense redcurrant, red plum, sweet fruit aromas. Well concentrated red plum, redcurrant sweet fruit flavours, fine loose-knit chalky textures, attractive richness and integrated acidity make for a delicious early-drinking style with attractive juicy freshness. Now-2026 Bethany Wines First Village Grenache 2021 G 92 Medium-deep crimson. An upfront, open-knit style showing fresh raspberry, red cherry aromas with herb garden notes. Buoyant and minerally with attractive but slightly underpowered red plum, red cherry, raspberry pastille fruit flavours, fine chalky/ slinky textures and integrated fresh acidity. Now-2026
