Two Hands Wines Brave Faces Grenache Mataro Shiraz 2021

Medium-deep crimson. A good mix of sweet and savoury fruits on display with attractive musky plum and redcurrant aromas with hints of earth and roasted walnuts. Generous and supple, there are plentiful musky plum and redcurrant fruit aromas, fine slinky textures, attractive mid-palate viscosity and linear fresh acidity before a chalky finish with vinosity and mineral length. Now–2028 Hayes Family Wines Grenache Shiraz Mataro 2021 G 94 Deep crimson. Bold and rich aromas of blackberry and tar with a line of white pepper spice and graphite aromas. Lovely buoyant GSM with plentiful dark plum, raspberry, pure blackberry fruits, fine plentiful chalky tannins, lovely mid-palate volume/ richness and underlying savoury notes. Very expressive, finishing chocolaty with juicy flavours. Now–2028 Turkey Flat Vineyards Butchers Block Grenache Shiraz Mataro 2019 G 94 Medium crimson. A pretty and understated rendition of Barossa Grenache with fresh ripe musky plum, redcurrant raspberry aromas with ginger notes. Delicious drinking right now with plentiful raspberry, redcurrant fruits, fine chalky textures, lovely mid-palate volume and fresh, long juicy acidity. A very good commercial/ early drinking style with lovely sweet fruit and vinosity. Now–2028 Arila Gardens of Moppa GSM 2020 G 94 Medium-deep crimson. Very attractive blueberry, raspberry, musky plum aromas with dark chocolate notes. Buoyant and crispy with juicy raspberry, plummy, mulberry fruits, fine chalky/ al dente textures, lovely mid-palate volume and fresh long mineral acidity. Now–2030 St Hugo Signature Collection GSM 2021 G 94 Medium-deep colour. Intense musky violet plum, raspberry aromas with inky praline notes. Lovely expressive wine with musky plum, raspberry, strawberry fruits, lovely mid-palate viscosity, fine supple textures and underlying roasted walnut notes, Finishes bittersweet with chalky mineral/ chinotto notes. A lovely early-drinking wine. Now–2026
