Deeply coloured and flavoured, this shiraz displays heady blackberry, dark plum, liquorice aromas with sweet mocha oak. Concentrated, almost treacle-like, with dark plum, raisin, blackberry, with some porty flavours, fine loose-knit chocolaty textures and roasted nut/ mocha oak. A substantial wine with monumental structure and a chewy long finish. Now–2028 Small Victories Wine Co Shiraz 2021 G 90 Bright deep crimson in colour and a deliciously primary fruit-forward style bursting with mulberry, blackberry and fruit pastille aromas with a little dusting of cloves and pepper. Beautifully silky and supple, with more redcurrant on the palate, before silky tannins take over to provide a finish with admirable concentration and length. Now–2023 Soul Growers Single Vineyard Hampel Shiraz 2017 G 90 Deep crimson and showing shades of development with fresh dark chocolate, blackberry and redcurrant aromas with herbal/leather/spicy complexity. Good concentration but slightly sweet with blackberry, chocolaty flavours, bitter brambly textures and pronounced acidity to finish. Now–2026

Deep crimson. A youthful and exuberant dark-fruited style with cherry, berry, elderberry, brambly aromas and flavours with more plentiful juicy dark berry fruits and fine chalky slightly grippy tannins emerging on the palate before finishing firm and tight. Now–2030

Deep crimson in colour with fragrant herb garden, espresso, dark berry aromas with attractive graphite complexity. Fresh, minerally and elegant on the palate with dark cherry, mulberry fruits, brambly textures and underlying lead-pencil complexity before finishing firm and tight. Now–2028
