Hayes Family Wines Estate Grenache Blanc 2021

G 92

A typically shy Grenache Blanc but does have good aromatic complexity with its layers of grapefruit, honey and straw aromas in a bright and clean style. Dry, crisp and textural, there is an appealing creamy texture and impact thanks to fine, bright acidity, which drives a finish of good length. Now–2024 The Willows Vineyard Semillon 2021 G 92 Pale colour and a refreshing wine style with waxy lemon curd aromas plus hints of grass and tropical fruit. Well concentrated and minerally on the palate with waxy sweet lemon curd, grapefruit flavours, fine bitter flinty textures and fresh cutting acidity. Delicious now and over the next couple of years. Now–2025 Purple Hands Wines Colours of the South Pinot Blanc 2021 G 91 A deliciously bright and fresh Barossan with its pure fruit aromas of green apple, chalk and citrus which is followed by a streamlined palate that is slightly textural and kept in shape by a crisp acid bite. Now–2023 Kalleske Wines Plenarius Viognier 2021 G 91 Golden in colour thanks to a wild ferment on skins followed by rich and robust aromas with classic apricot joined by Manuka honey and oak spice with impressive complexity on show. The palate is then bone dry and quite textural, with a highly savoury feel before proceeding through to a long, nutty finish. Great food wine. Now Saltram Wines Winemaker’s Selection Fiano 2021 G 90 Pale in colour, this gently aromatic wine opens with nutty aromas well supported by red apple and melon fruits. Lightweight and juicy, it’s a more fruit-forward style with an appealing mid-palate creaminess and viscosity before finishing with a crisp acid bite. Now–2023

Langmeil Winery Three Gardens Viognier Marsanne Roussanne 2021

G 90

A delicious and pure fruited Rhône blend with layers of floral and melon fruits in a bright and clean style. Gently fragrant fruits with touches of spice sit on a silky palate with good balance of tangy acidity and fruit, providing a finish of medium length. Now–2023
