Eden Hall Chardonnay 2020

G 94

Pale gold and a very impresssive and crowd-pleasing style of Eden Valley Chardonnay thanks to generous nectarine, white peach aromas with honey, grilled nut complexity. Richly flavoured and creamy, there is ample stone fruit, honey flavours, fine slinky textures and fresh vanilla oak before it finishes chalky with aniseed complexity. Now–2025 Dandelion Vineyards Honeypot of the Barossa Roussanne 2021 G 94 Pale gold in colour and very attractive with honey nectarine aromas and flinty notes. A bittersweet palate follows with nectarine, apricot, honey flavours, fine al dente/ sappy textures and crisp/ indelible acidity. Very crunchy, mouth-watering and textural with lovely fruit purity and Impressive typicity here with a mix of pear, citrus and spicy fruits with a little savoury line sitting just underneath. It’s well pitched for early drinking with a punchy palate driven by crisp acidity that also delivers a slightly creamy mid-palate texture before driving through to a long, fine finish. Now–2025 John Duval Wines Plexus Marsanne Roussanne Viognier 2021 G 93 vinosity. Now–2024 Stage Door Wine Co Grüner Veltliner 2021 G 93 Pale in colour but then immediately displays exotic, subtly lifted fruits; sweet apricot and a touch of lanolin and blossom aromas with good intensity. The palate is then dry and quite savoury in the mouth with a bit of grip and good fruit intensity which drives it home to a long and complex finish. The whole package is still quite closed and bound up tight, so needs some time to blossom but very good vintage of this

label. 2024–2028 Henschke Louis Semillon 2018
