Medium colour and showing classic blackcurrant/ cassis herb garden, violet aromas with well matched praline oak. Pure fruited on the palate, it radiates with blackcurrant pastille/ cassis fruits underpinned by impressive fine grainy tannins and underlying vanilla notes with a firm finish. Very good definition, torque and mineral length. Now–2030 Tarrawatta Wines Ambervale Cabernet Sauvignon 2019 G 95 Deep crimson, this is an intense and seductive cabernet with blackcurrant, praline, violet and sage aromas. Supple blackcurrant, blackberry and vanilla praline flavours follow, well supported by fine loose-knit grainy/ gravelly tannins before finishing chalky/ chocolaty with attractive mineral length. Now–2032 Grant Burge Nebu Cabernet Shiraz 2017 G 95 Medium-deep colour. Lifted blackberry, dark chocolate panforte, roasted chestnut aromas. Richly concentrated and smoothly textured with ripe blackberry, dried plum, dark chocolate, espresso, panforte flavours, plentiful fine chalky tannins and attractive lacy acidity. Finishes claret- firm with chinotto, graphite notes. An expressive modern Barossa style with abundant fruit, classic mid-palate richness and modulated vigour. Now–2033 Elderton Wines Ode to Lorraine Cabernet Shiraz Merlot 2019 G 95 Medium-deep crimson in colour, it opens with classic cabernet aromatics of blackcurrant, cedar aromas with herb garden and praline complexity. Well concentrated, there are rich cassis and blackberry flavours underpinned by fine but significant grainy tannins finishing long with
