Deep crimson. Beautiful pure blackberry, raspberry dark chocolate/ mocha aromas. Richly concentrated wine with deep set blackberry, raspberry pastille, dark chocolate flavours, fine loose knit/ velvety textures, underlying mocha, hint vanilla notes and persistent fresh mineral acidity. Finishes chocolaty firm with juicy notes. Very well- balanced wine with all the elements in symmetry. Should develop very well, so keep for a few years. Matured in new French (24%) and seasoned oak for 21 months. Drink 2024–2030 14.5% alc Coriole Lloyd Reserve 2020 Shiraz $120 G 96 Deep crimson. Dark chocolate, black cherry, toasty aromas with roasted chestnut notes. Chocolaty textured and elemental with powerful black cherry, elderberry fruits, firm muscular, touch ferric tannins, impressive mid-palate volume and well-integrated juicy acidity. Finishes firm with cedar, dark berry notes and superb mineral length. Dense chocolaty wine with deep set blackberry praline, apricot flavours, plentiful chocolaty tannins, superb mid-palate volume and underlying roasted chestnut/ vanilla/ mocha complexity. Finishes chocolaty with lovely liquorice fruit complexity, density and torque. A plush and luxurious style. Drink now–2034 15% alc Kay Brothers Block 6 2019 Shiraz $125 G 96 Deep crimson. Beautiful dark plum, blackberry, praline, vanilla aromas with star anise notes. Classic, modern and expressive wine with intense dark plum, blackberry, raspberry pastille, underlying inky, vanilla, mocha complexity and fine persistent loose knit chalky/graphite tannins. Finishes firm and juicy with ample red/dark berry fruits and vanilla/ marzipan notes. Impressively balanced wine with a strong voice of place. Drink now–2036 14% alc
