Well balanced and inky deep with lovely blackcurrant, mulberry, dark plum fruits, fine slinky/hint leafy textures and some vanilla notes. Cedar firm finish. 79% cabernet sauvignon, 21% merlot. 2022–2030 Brown Hill Estate G 92 Perseverance Cabernet Merlot 2019 Deep crimson. Blackberry, mocha, herb garden aromas. Well balanced palate with ample black fruits, fine slinky textures, espresso/mocha notes and persistent crisp acidity. Some leafy notes at the finish. 80% cabernet sauvignon, 20% merlot. 2022–2030 Fishbone Wines G 92 Black Label Cabernet Sauvignon 2020 Medum-deep crimson. Cassis, cola, chinotto aromas with hints of graphite. Blackcurrant, cola fruits, leafy/gravelly textures, attractive mid-palate density/richness and some cedar complexity. Finishes sappy firm. 100% cabernet sauvignon. 2022–2028 Flametree Wines G 92 Cabernet Sauvignon 2018 Deep crimson. Espresso, dark berry aromas with earthy graphite notes. Touch of sweet dark berry, dark chocolate, roasted coffee flavours, fine gravelly/sinewy tannins and some savoury complexity. 2022–2030 Hay Shed Hill Wines G 92 Block 2 Cabernet Sauvignon 2018 Deep crimson. Intense dark chocolate, mocha, blackcurrant, cedar aromas. Sweet and savoury wine with ample blackcurrant, black cherry fruits and fine chocolaty tannins. A touch cylindrical. Finishes cedar firm. Needs more time to build mid-palate richness. 2024–2032 Juniper G 92 Cornerstone Karridale Cabernet Sauvignon 2018 Medium-deep crimson. Fresh blackberry, mulberry aromas with roasted walnut, earthy notes. Pure blackberry, mulberry fruits, plentiful fine chalky tannins, savoury nuances and juicy acidity. Finishes sinewy firm with red and dark berry fruits. A sturdy structure. 89% cabernet sauvignon, 6% cabernet franc, 5% merlot. 2022–2028
