Medium-deep crimson. Attractive black cherry, blackberry, mocha, roasted almond aromas with chinotto notes. Inky deep wine with complex black cherry, blackberry, mocha flavours, fine slinky textures and well-integrated acidity. Smooth and velvety at the finish with sesame/ aniseed notes. Now–2030. 15% alc Sons of Eden Autumnus Single Vineyard Shiraz 2018 G 95 Deep crimson. Intense dark plum, blackberry, liquorice aromas with mocha, roasted chestnut vanilla notes. Richly concentrated blackberry pastille, praline, liquorice flavours, fine cedar tannins and plentiful mocha vanilla notes. Finishes chocolaty. Now. 14.5% alc Soul Growers Slow Grown Shiraz 2021 G 95 Medium-deep crimson. Lovely blackberry, marzipan, hint vanilla aromas with herb garden notes. Very expressive fruit sweet palate with plentiful blackberry, black cherry fruits, fine chocolaty tannins, some inky complexity and underlying marzipan, vanilla hint mocha notes. Finishes chocolaty and minerally. Brilliantly well-made wine. Now– 2034. 14.5% alc Tarrawatta Wines Ambervale Shiraz 2020 G 95 Deep crimson. Musky blackberry ginger roasted chestnut aromas. Fresh blackberry, musky plum, ginger, flavours, dense chalky tannins, lovely roasted chestnut, vanilla notes and well-integrated fresh acidity. Lovely al dente crisp finish with seductive sweet fruits. Lovely inky richness, complexity and energy. Where less is more. Now–2035. 14.8% alc The Willows Vineyard BONESETTER SHIRAZ 2020 G 95 Deep crimson. A classical Barossa Shiraz with fresh choco-berry aromas and flavours, some chinotto notes, fine-grained tannins, lovely mid- palate volume and expressive roasted coffee notes. Finishes ardent firm, bittersweet and minerally. Now–2035. 14.9% alc Thistledown Wines The Quickening Shiraz 2021 G 95 Deep crimson. Intense blackberry, praline hint marzipan aromas. Generously flavoured with inky blackberry pastille flavours, fine loose- knit chalky tannins, very good mid-palate density and well-balanced savoury notes. Finishes bittersweet with a lovely tannin plume. Unforced and delicious. Now–2032. 14.5% alc

Deep crimson. Mulberry, dark plum, roasted chestnut aromas with chinotto/ blackpepper notes. Fresh and supple wine with attractive pure dark berry fruits, ample chinotto/ cola notes, fine loose-knit chalky tannins and underlying roasted chestnut notes. Finishes peppery and long. Really interesting wine for the Barossa Shiraz. Now–2032. 13.1% alc Hobbs of Barossa Ranges 1905 Shiraz 2020 G 95 Deep colour. Attractive ripe blackberry pastille, peppery, liquorice aromas with mocha/ dark chocolate notes. A touch of bush garrigue gives freshness and evocation of place. Richly concentrated with pure blackberry, blackcurrant pastille fruits, lovely inky density, some mocha, roasted chestnut notes and a runnel of pure aniseed. Finishes velvety/ chocolaty and long. An impressive Barossa Shiraz with appealing density and impact. The alcohol is high but well-integrated. Now–2032.

Medium-deep crimson. Intense dark plum, blackberry, hint tarry aromas with roasted walnut, dark chocolate notes. Richly flavoured and chocolaty textured wine with plentiful ripe dark black fruits, some cassis notes, fine velvety tannins and underlying mocha oak notes. Finishes claret firm with smooth blackberry, liquorice notes. An impressive combination of cool Eden Valley and underlying warm Barossa Valley fruit. Very good concentration and torque without being a blockbuster. Maturation in 25% new and 75% seasoned French oak hogsheads for 18 months. Now–2030. 13.5% alc Greenock Creek Roennfeldt Road Shiraz 2017 G 95 Medium-deep crimson. Complex ripe black cherry, blackberry, prune, dark chocolate, espresso aromas with hints of wax polish. Classic old- fashioned Barossa Shiraz with fresh black cherry, mocha flavours, fine chocolaty/ velveteen textures, some bourbon/ roasted hazelnut notes. Finishes chocolaty firm with wax polish/ hint liquorice notes. Very good richness and volume. Approximately 2000 bottles made. Now–2034. 15.5% alc
