Deep crimson. Intense blackberry, dark chocolate, sesame, marzipan aromas with wax polish, hint wood varnish notes. Generously concentrated with dense blackberry, dark cherry pastille, dark chocolate flavours, fine sinuous/ferruginous tannins, and well-balanced mocha/ marzipan oak. Finishes chocolaty/ velvety with bittersweet notes. A sumptuous Barossa Shiraz with impressive fruit density, volume, and torque. Should develop and unfold with further bottle age. 18 months maturation in 40% new and 60% seasoned French oak hogsheads. 2025– 2036+. 14.5% alc Laughing Jack Wines Moppa Hill Block 6 Shiraz, 2019 G 95 Deep crimson. Lifted dark plum, dark cherry, cedar aromas with dark chocolate notes. Richly concentrated wine with plush dark berry fruits, velvety tannins and well-integrated cedar/ mocha oak notes. Finishes gravelly firm. Still elemental but well-balanced and classical. Now–2030. 14.5% alc Levrier Wines by Jo Irvine 2018 Argos Shiraz G 95 Deep crimson. Lovely dark cherry, roasted chestnut marzipan sesame aromas with herb notes. Generously concentrated wine with deep set dark cherry, dark plum fruits cedar firm tannins and marzipan, touch sandalwood notes. Chocolaty firm finish. Oak-driven but well-made wine worth hanging onto. 2025–2035. 14.5% alc

Richly flavoured wine with plentiful dark plum, blackberry fruits, slinky firm textures, attractive mid-palate density and underlying mocha. touch marzipan notes. Blackberry pastille, dark chocolate aromas with herb garden notes. Beautifully weighted wine with pure blackberry, cassis, dark chocolate flavours, fine slinky textures and fresh long acidity. A classical modern Barossa Shiraz with lovely concentration and mineral length. Now–2032. 14.5% alc Paulmara Estates MARAnanga Shiraz 2021 G 95 Medium-deep crimson. Classical Barossa style with ample dark chocolate, blackberry aromas and flavours with chinotto/ hint panforte/ liquorice notes, fine loose-knit chocolaty tannins, and underlying mocha notes. Finishes velvety and long. Now–2030. 14.5% alc Pepperjack The Rare Find Barossa Valley Shiraz 2020 G 95 Deep crimson. Intense elderberry, blackberry, liquorice aromas with praline notes. Voluminous and expressive wine with smooth dark berry fruits, dark chocolate nuances, sinuous velveteen tannins, very good mid-palate richness and well-integrated acidity. Gravely firm at the finish with cedar spice notes. Now–2032. 14.5% alc

Very good density, richness and torque with a touch of acidity at the finish. Now–2035. 14% alc Max & Me Estate Shiraz G 95 Deep crimson. Beautiful fresh boysenberry blackberry pastille aromas with hints of roasted coffee. Pure fruited wine with lovely juicy blackberry, boysenberry fruits, slinky firm tannins and plentiful savoury nuances. Finishes chocolaty with mineral notes. Now–2032. 13% alc
