Dewey Station Wines Junction 1 Graciano, Shiraz 2024

G 93

Deep crimson. A wine very much in building mode with cedary oak and furniture polish notes mixing with black fruits and dark spice on the aroma. Benefits from time open, revealing a ripe generosity of black fruit, loganberry and plum on the palate, herbs, woody spices, a buttered toastiness and hints of smoky savouriness with supercharged earthy tannins in force. Texturally smooth, finishing with a touch of cherry pip

dryness. Now–2036 Dewey Station Wines Junction 3 Graciano, Tempranillo, Garnacha 2024

G 93

Deep crimson. Quiet to start, but with time in the glass a lovely balance comes into effect, combining black plums and blue fruits, juby pastille, black liquorice, wild herbs, autumnal leaves, earth and grilled nuts. Nicely tuned in oak and delivered along savoury, earthy tannins. Well made and quietly compelling. Now–2036

Seppeltsfield Wines Nero d’Avola 2025

G 93

Brilliant, deep purple. Shows the fully ripe, generous side of the big- hearted Sicilian grape variety. Richly endowed in sweet red fruits, black cherry, fresh just-picked red cherry, spice, dried herbs and chocolate. Lightly savoury, nicely supple and textural and edged in a ribbon of cherry pip dry tannin that becomes a vibrant feature. Now–2031 Sven Joschke Wines V.S.V.P Fortified Syrah 2023 G 93 Deep purple. A vintage fortified still showing its youth, but laying the groundwork for a bright future. Concentrated black cherry and blackberry aromas with chocolate raisin, liquorice, spice and raised aromatics. Sweet, rich and round to taste with a warm nuttiness and sweet chocolate with brandy spirit noted, it could easily be enjoyed now but would benefit from more time in bottle, as all vintage fortifieds

do. Now–2038 Bosward Wines Barbera 2026

G 92

Purple crimson. Mulberry, black liquorice, red cherry and brambly aromas hint of turned earth. Inky with fresh acidity, bright red berry fruits, baking spice, sarsaparilla and loose-knit chalky tannins. Well structured with a long, minerally finish. Now–2032
