Lifted dark cherry, chinotto, cola, roasted walnut aromas with herb garden notes. Fresh dark cherry, blackberry fruits, some chinotto notes, fine minerally textures and integrated roasted walnut notes. Fruit-driven style with lively persistent acidity. Now–2032 Maverick The Maverick Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon 2023 G 92 Deep crimson. Blackberry cassis dark chocolate/mocha aromas with herb garden notes. Supple and loose-knit with concentrated dark berry fruits, panforte/praline nuances and fresh long slinky fine tannins. Finishes chalky and long with mineral/slaty notes. Now–2034 Paulmara Estates Marananga Shiraz 2023 G 92 Deep crimson. Intense inky graphite, dark cherry blueberry aromas and flavours. Smooth and supple with attractive primary black and blueberry fruits, dense chalky textures and underlying savoury notes. Bittersweet and juicy finish lengthens the palate. Early drinking style Now–2030 Poonawatta Trois Shiraz 2023 G 92 Medium-deep crimson. Peppercorn, black cherry, hint graphite, herbal aromas. Generous and round on the palate with black cherry, peppery flavours, slinky firm tannins, attractive mid-palate richness and fresh juicy acidity. A cooler expression of Barossa shiraz, but has its charm. Now–2034 Quin Wines Barossa Valley Shiraz 2023 G 92 Deep crimson. Fresh blackberry jam praline, roasted walnut liquorice aromas. Richly flavoured and smooth with plentiful choco-berry fruits, attractive mid-palate volume and fresh linear acidity. Aniseed notes at the finish. Now–2032
