Medium-deep crimson. Classic blackberry pastille dark chocolate aromas with herb garden notes. Inky and supple with ripe dark berry fruits, smooth velvety tannins and integrated fresh acidity. A softer early drinking style with bangs of primary fruit and animated structure. Now–in a while Calabria Family Wines Elisabetta Barossa Shiraz 2024 G 93 Deep crimson. Dark chocolate, dark plum, brambly aromas with flinty notes. Concentrated blackberry, dark plum fruits, lovely supple tannins, very good mid-palate richness and integrated mineral acidity. Now– 2030 Camino Wine Co. Camino Paradigm Vineyard Shiraz 2023 G 93 Medium-deep crimson. Black olive, violet, waxy, blackberry, praline aromas. Supple and sweet-fruited with ample blackberry, dark cherry fruits and persistent chocolaty/dense chalky texture. Some roasted/ grilled nut/dark chocolate notes at the finish. Underlying fresh long acidity. 80–100-year-old vines. Now–2035 Chaffey Bros. Wine Co. Elijah Shiraz 2023 G 93 Medium-deep crimson. Fresh dark berry chinotto roasted walnut aromas with herb garden notes. Slinky textured with plentiful black cherry, raspberry, chinotto flavours, loose-knit chalky tannins and integrated roasted walnut notes. Minerally at the finish, with saline notes. Now– 2034 Chateau Tanunda Grand Barossa Shiraz 2024 G 93 Medium-deep crimson. Blackberry jam, dark chocolate, liquorice aromas. concentrated and supple in texture with abundant blackberry, mocha flavours and finely grained tannins. Very good mid-palate volume and flow. Juicy/jammy finish. Now–2032 Chateau Tanunda Old Vine Shiraz 2024 G 93 Medium-deep crimson. Attractive fresh raspberry, chinotto, cola aromas with herb notes. Lithe and flowing with juicy raspberry red cherry fruits, chalky textures and underlying roasted walnut notes. Finishes bittersweet and long. A medium-term wine, best enjoyed as a youngster.
