Medium-deep crimson. Intense raspberry blackberry grilled nut, mocha aromas. Supple raspberry, blackberry pastille fruits, slinky/chalky tannins and underlying savoury notes. Attractive blackberry dark plum roasted walnut aromas with aniseed notes. Inky-deep and sinuous with blackberry dark plum roasted walnut flavours and persistent savoury tannins. Finishes firm and minerally. Delicious drinking. Now–2034 Chateau Tanunda Old Vine Shiraz, Cabernet 2024 G 94 Deep crimson. Deep aromatics, aniseed, black berry fruits, black cherry aromas with hint of chinotto and turned earth. Concentrated and robust with musky plum, black fruits and hint graphite flavours. Vibrant acidity and a backbone of polished tannins. Al dente finish with good length and promising future. Now–2034 Dewey Station Wines Ann-Inspired Shiraz 2022 G 94 Deep crimson. Dark cherry, mocha, cedar aromas with brambly notes. Generous, smooth and velvety with abundant ripe dark berry fruits, dark chocolate, espresso notes and plentiful chocolaty/touch grippy tannins. A classic Barossa shiraz style with attractive definition, volume and texture. Now–2036 Eden Hall Grand Reserve Shiraz 2022 G 94 Medium-deep crimson. Gentle raspberry pastille, red plum aromas with hints of marzipan and spice. Richly concentrated with smooth red berry fruits and firm muscular tannins. Finishes leafy and minerally. Lovely vigorous structure gives vinosity and length. Now–2038 Elderton Sixfold Shiraz 2024 G 94 Deep crimson. Lifted blackberry, hint elderberry, mocha sage aromas. Inky-deep and fruity with abundant blackberry, cassis flavours, supple tannins and balanced mocha notes. Finishes firm with long juicy acidity and nuances of aniseed. Now–2040
