Deep crimson. Classical choco-berry, panforte aromas with a whiff of Campari. Generously proportioned with blackberry, dark cherry fruits, chocolaty textures and integrated walnutty notes. A whack of liquorice at the finish. More like Barossa floor than High Eden though. Now–2032 Gibson Wines Gibson Burkes Hill Shiraz 2022 G 94 Deep crimson. Leafy touch peppery aromas with pure blackberry pastille/ cola notes. Concentrated blackberry, pepper, bay leaf flavours, chalky firm textures, very good mid-palate volume and integrated fresh mineral acidity. Leafy, chinotto notes at the finish. A cool expression. Now–2034 Golden Amrita Sunshine Hill Shiraz 2021 G 94 Deep crimson. Rich panforte, blackberry, dark chocolate aromas with some toffee, hint molasses notes. Attractive inky-deep palate with ample choco-berry, panforte flavours and plentiful chocolaty tannins. Exuberant
and fresh. Now–2035 Greenock Creek Wines Apricot Block Shiraz 2023

Deep crimson. Black cherry, black olive, hint flinty aromas with praline notes. Supple and sweet-fruited with ample choco-berry fruits, panforte/ spice notes and fresh sinuous chocolaty tannins. Acidity gives tension and mineral length. Now–2040 Hart of the Barossa Ye Brave Shiraz 2022 G 94 Deep crimson. Intense black liquorice, elderberry, blackberry, dark chocolate, black olive aromas and flavours. Richly concentrated with abundant ripe fruit, dense fine chalky tannins and balanced roasted walnut/hazelnut/mocha notes. Gravelly firm with persistent aniseed notes. 1902-planted shiraz vines. Now–2036 Hayes Family Wines Block 15 Shiraz 2024 G 94 Deep crimson. Intense blackberry, marzipan, grilled almond aromas with aniseed, touch wax polish notes. Inky-deep with ample blackberry, cassis, chocolaty flavours, velvety firm textures and balanced toasty oak. Chocolaty at the finish with a tannin plume. A substantial wine. Still in parts but should develop well. Best to keep for a while. 2028–2042
