Medium-deep crimson. Fragrant blackberry raspberry, hint dried roses with mocha notes. Blackberry pastille, pure raspberry fruits, some bay leaf/sage notes, fine chalky textures and underlying mineral acidity. Elegantly structured with balance and flow. Now–2036 Golden Amrita Estate Reserve Shiraz 2019 G 94+ Deep crimson. Dark cherry, blackcurrant aromas with mocha/roasted coffee notes. Concentrated and inky-deep with plentiful dark cherry, dark plum, cassis flavours, slinky firm textures and integrated mocha/ marzipan notes. Al dente; chewy at the finish. A powerful wine, but balanced with very good density, torque and flow. Probably needs another five years to reach its potential. Now–2045 Head Wines ‘The Blonde’, Barossa Valley Shiraz 2024 G 94+ Deep crimson. Flinty blackberry, black olive aromas with graphite, dark chocolate notes. Inky-deep with saturated dark plum, blackberry pastille fruits, plentiful chalky textures and underlying savoury notes. Finishes chalky firm and minerally. A touch reductive, but should blow off with some air. Riebke Vineyard c1893 plantings. 2028–2042

Deep crimson. Inky, blackberry, black cherry, graphite, hint polish aromas. Robust palate, black fruits, roasted chestnut, graphite and sweet baking spice flavours. Big structure with great torque and grippy, velveteen tannins. A polished wine, finishing claret firm. Now–2040 Agricola Flaxman Valley Shiraz 2024 G 94 Deep crimson. Redcurrant, strawberry, cherry liqueur aromas. Fresh strawberry, redcurrant, red cherry, chinotto flavours, chalky/leafy textures and integrated acidity. Very good volume and mineral length with sappy notes. Now–2028 Auld Family Wines The Outlook ‘Estate’ Shiraz 2024 G 94 Deep crimson. Lifted dark cherry, blackberry, chinotto aromas with hints of wax polish/herb garden. Supple and inky-textured with choco-berry fruits, slinky firm tannins and underlying graphite notes. Some roasted walnut, waxy notes at the finish. Now–2035
