Deep crimson. Lovely pure blackberry pastille, dark chocolate, with musky, cinnamon notes. Densely concentrated blackberry pastille, praline, espresso flavours, fresh bittersweet/graphite tannins, brilliant viscosity and well-balanced toasty/roasted hazelnut notes. Some liquorice notes at the finish with quartz/touch sherbet acidity. Very appealing Barossa shiraz showing lovely density and flow. 70% Barossa Valley, 30% Eden Valley. Now–2034 Turkey Flat Vineyards Shiraz 2024 G 95 Deep crimson. Intense black cherry, dark chocolate, aniseed aromas with hints of herb garden. Beautiful kirsch, praline, malty flavours, sinuous chocolaty firm tannins and integrated marzipan, roasted walnut notes. Finishes chocolaty with aniseed notes. A classic Barossa style. Now– 2036 Welland Valley & Valley Shiraz 2024 G 95 Deep crimson. Blackberry pastille, dark chocolate aromas with attractive spicy notes. Richly concentrated blackberry, Christmas cake, cassis, brandied plum flavours, chocolaty firm textures and integrated acidity. Cigar box notes at the finish. Traditional style with very good definition and structure. Now–2036 Whistler Wines Estate Shiraz 2024 G 95 Medium-deep crimson. Fragrant black cherry, chinotto, herb garden aromas with star anise notes. Lovely pure black cherry, cassis, chinotto flavours, lacy velveteen textures and integrated savoury notes. A touch of mint at the finish. Beautifully balanced wine with excellent fruit definition, volume, gentle vigour and mineral length! Now–2038 Yelland & Papps Single Vineyard Greenock Shiraz 2024 G 95 Deep purple. Inviting young shiraz of complexity and nuance. Succulent blackberry, wild raspberry fruit and wood spices with sweet oak folded in seamlessly. The medium-weight palate is smooth and long, sprinkled in black olive, leather savoury notes and regional ironstone mineral with integrated gravelly tannins. Depth and presence. Now–2039
