Medium-deep crimson. Attractive black cherry, dark plum aromas with cola, amaro notes. Smooth and velvety in structure with lovely ripe dark berry fruits, some chinotto notes, grainy textures and underlying roasted chestnut notes. Now–2038 Glaetzer Wines Anaperenna Shiraz Cabernet Sauvignon 2023 G 95 Deep crimson. Intense and fragrant blackberry, dark plum, cedar spice aromas, concentrated with ripe blackberry/cassis/plummy fruits, chocolaty fine textures and underlying spicy/cedary notes. Some roasted walnut notes. Finishes firm with seductive sweet fruit notes. Now–2038 Golden Amrita Lùmenval Moppa Shiraz 2020 G 95 Deep crimson. Intense dark cherry, blackberry, touch cedar aromas with roasted walnut notes. Richly flavoured with abundant dark cherry, black berry fruits, plentiful dusty tannins and noticeable oak maturation notes. Finishes chewy and long with seductive sweet fruits. Very well made wine. Now–2040 Gomersal Wines Reserve Shiraz 2022 G 95 Deep crimson. Intense and classical choco-berry aromas with liquorice/ aniseed notes. Sweet-fruited on the palate with attractive blackberry, raspberry fruits, chocolaty tannins and integrated roasted walnut, touch marzipan/coconut notes. A graphite plume at the finish. Very good wine. Now–2028 Hare’s Chase Ironscraper Shiraz 2022 G 95 Deep crimson. Pure blackberry, marzipan, hint Turkish Delight aromas with star anise notes. Generous dark cherry, blackberry fruits, fine grainy firm textures and balanced marzipan notes. Chocolaty and flavourful finish. Tapering off with a graphite plume. Delicious wine. Now–2036 Hayes Family Wines Estate Block 9 Shiraz 2024 G 95 Deep crimson. Lovely blackcurrant, blackberry, mocha/vanilla, hint leafy aromas. Pure and lithe with abundant blackberry, cassis flavours, fine supple/chalky textures and integrated mocha, vanilla notes. Builds up claret firm at the finish with leafy/sappy notes. Very much a claret style with very good density, buoyancy and torque. Now–2038
