Deep crimson. Lifted black cherry, musky plum, black olive, gamey, hint of herb garden aromas. Fleshy and finely structured, musky plum, black olive, roasted chestnut, hint of tar on the finish. Polished tannins, attractive flow, and excellent length. A beautiful wine with lovely extract and complexity. Now–2040

Glorious, fruit-fuelled syrah expression in black berries, dark cherry, plum, deep spice, anise, cardamon, loamy earth, Aussie bush and attractive wood spice oak. Packs a fleshy shiraz punch an arresting spiciness, and light, earthy savoury elements through to the finish. Will benefit from more ageing. Now–2034 Agricola K Sands Shiraz 2024 G 95 Deep crimson. Inky dark cherry, strawberry herb garden leafy aromas. Supple and silky textured with dark cherry, raspberry, strawberry, hint peppery flavours, loose-knit chalky textures, attractive mid- palate viscosity and integrated mineral acidity. Very different with a Burgundian/Côte Rôtie-like frame. Cult-like wine! Now–2034 Chaffey Bros. Wine Co. Emmanuel Shiraz 2021 G 95 Deep crimson. Pure blackberry pastille sesame aromas with roasted chestnut, vanilla notes. Concentrated blackberry dark plum, sesame, vanilla flavours, gravelly firm tannins and underlying roasted chestnut notes. Very good mid-palate volume and mineral length. 2028–2038 Chateau Tanunda 100 Year Old Vines Shiraz 2023 G 95 Medium-deep crimson. Intense dark chocolate, dark berry liquorice aromas with chinotto/herb notes. Cassis, black cherry, praline hint ginger flavours, slinky firm textures and balanced vanilla/marzipan notes. Finishes chalky and minerally with some graphite notes. Nicely weighted with lovely density and flow. Now Cimicky Wines North Barossa Shiraz 2024 G 95 Deep crimson. Roasted coffee, black cherry pastille aromas with hints of bitumen. Voluminous and supple with lovely espresso, dark fruit complexity and underlying velveteen tannins. Finishes firm and minerally with a slight ferruginous twang. Really great vinosity and torque. Now–2038
