Medium-deep crimson. Fresh complex black cherry, hint panforte aromas with praline notes and hints of dried roses. Refined and supple with pure black cherry fruits, some panforte, dark chocolate notes, lovely mid-palate richness/volume and integrated graphite/loose-knit chalky textures. Softly chalky and minerally at the finish. Singular in character highlighting masterful winemaking and elevage. Now–2040 Torbreck Descendent Shiraz Viognier 2023 G 97 Deep crimson. Intense black and red cherry, stone fruit aromas with praline notes. Richly concentrated, smooth and velvety with lovely pure black cherry, apricot flavours, chocolaty tannins and underlying marzipan, vanilla notes. Finishes gravelly with apricotty strawberry star anise notes. A very well-balanced signature style. Around 98% shiraz, 2% viognier. Now–2040 Two Hands Wines Yacca Block Shiraz 2023 G 97 Striking and impressive from the start. Combines a deep concentration of black berries, blueberry fruit with luxurious flourishes of cigar box oak, woodsmoke, earth, florals and spice on the aroma. The palate is seamless and wonderfully textured with layer after layer of finely detailed fruit, oak, spice with lifted floral aromatics that sing. Hearty in tannin, long in length, rich and in flavour, and seamless in delivery, this is Eden Valley at its best. Now–2043 Soul Growers Hoffmann Single Vineyard Shiraz 2024 G 96+ Medium-deep crimson. Fragrant musky plum, kirsch, marzipan, vanilla aromas with spice, grilled nut notes. Generously concentrated wine with ample plum, black cherry fruits, chocolaty textures and beautifully integrated new oak. Finishes velvety smooth with a tail of graphite. Smartly balanced with superb inky density and gentle vigour. Now– 2040 Two Hands Wines Holy Grail Shiraz 2023 G 96+ Deep crimson. Lovely musky dark plum, blackberry aromas with cedar, mocha, spice notes. Densely concentrated, smooth and velvety with attractive blackberry, dark plum touch cassis flavours, refined graphite, hint cedary tannins and well-integrated marzipan, vanilla/mineral notes. Exceptional elevage has led to a wine of great complexity, torque and flow. 2028–2040
