Cirillo Estate 1850 Grenache 2015

Medium crimson. Raspberry, strawberry, redcurrant aromas with chinotto notes. Sweet fruit strawberry, redcurrant, raspberry fruits, fine loose-knit chalky textures, beautiful mid-palate viscosity and underlying savoury notes. Finishes chalky with a light tannin plume. A classical gentle pinot-esque style. Now–2030+

Greenock Creek Grenache 2020

Medium-deep colour. Traditional Barossa Grenache with intense musky plum, raspberry, dark chocolate aromas. Generous and supple with smooth dark plum, mulberry, boysenberry fruits, hints of red liquorice, plentiful fine powdery textures, lovely inky density and underlying fresh acidity. Finishes chalky with a kick of alcohol. Very well-made wine with excellent fruit definition, vinosity and complexity. Now–2028 Seabrook The Broker Grenache 2018 G 96 Medium-deep crimson. Liquorice all-sorts, raspberry aromas with espresso, mocha notes. Developed raspberry, plum, roasted coffee, dark chocolate, amontillado flavours, fine chalky tannins and underly roasted walnut/ hazelnut notes. Finishes chalky and bittersweet. Lovely density and complexity. The maturation characters make this wine. Now–2025 Hayes Family Wines Estate Block 2 Grenache 2021 G 96 Medium-deep crimson. Intense yet reserved musky plum, dark cherry aromas with herb garden notes tinged with truffle and spice. Richly concentrated and buoyant plum, dark cherry, boysenberry fruits, fine slinky al dente textures and integrated juicy acidity are all superbly balanced with lovely mid-palate volume and density to finish. Now–2028 Hayes Family Wines Estate Block 2 Grenache 2021 G 96 Medium-deep crimson and a bolder style here from Hayes Family Wines with beautifully intense black cherry, musky plum aromas with graphite herb complexity. The palate is intense and sweet-fruited with plentiful black cherry, dark plum, boysenberry fruits, and plentiful fine chalky tannins. Lovely density, balance and vinosity will see this age well. Now–2028
