Deep crimson. Classic blackcurrant, dark chocolate with roasted almond, roasted chestnut notes. Inky deep wine with beautiful blackcurrant pastille, roasted chestnut flavours, fine grainy textures and underlying cedar notes. Finishes chalky firm with seductive sweet fruit notes. A highly individual style with superb definition, fruit complexity, concentration and oak handling. 97% Cabernet Sauvignon, 3% Malbec. Blackcurrant, blackberry, graphite aromas with mocha, roasted chestnut notes. Beautifully concentrated wine with plentiful cassis, blackberry, graphite, fine gravelly textures and integrated mocha, roasted chestnut, vanilla oak. Finishes chocolatey with ample sweet fruit notes. Gently vigorous with superb fruit complexity and mineral length. 52% Cabernet Sauvignon, 48% Shiraz. Drink 2024– 2038 14% alc SC Pannell 2019 Tempranillo Touriga $32 G 96 Medium deep crimson. Lovely complex dark cherry, blackberry aromas with marzipan notes. Concentrated and inky deep with plentiful dark cherry, blackberry, hint strawberry fruits, dense chalky/ graphite tannins and beautiful marzipan/ roasted meat complexity leading to a slinky/ minerally finish. Vibrant retro-modern style – a delicious early to mid- term drinking wine. Drink now–2030 13.5% alc Wirra Wirra The Angelus 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon $70 G 96 Deep crimson. Intense black cherry, blackcurrant, bitter chocolate aromas with violet notes. Concentrated cassis, dark chocolate, Parma Violet flavours, fine grippy/ grainy tannins and integrated mocha oak complexity. Finishes chewy firm and long. Drink 2026–2038 14% alc Battle of Bosworth Best of Vintage 2019 Petit verdot Shiraz $50 G 95 Deep crimson. Dark chocolate/ praline, black cherry, hint panforte aromas with peat-smoke notes. Generous and velvety smooth with deep set inky, black cherry, brambly flavours, chocolaty textures and underlying mocha notes. Finishes slinky and long with a really lovely texture.
