2023 Castle Rock Estate Skywalk Riesling G 92 Opens with gentle lemon and lime talc, Supple, open-knit style, with wet stone. Rounded in style with less drive and finish. Now–2028 2022 Castle Rock Estate Diletti Riesling G 92 Slightly reductive upon opening. Toasty and forward with hints of kerosene and preserved lemon. Crisp and zesty in the mid-palate leading to a long finish. Now–2033 2023 Two Hands Wines The Boy Eden Valley Riesling G 92 Lifted bouquet of lemon blossom. Round and soft-edged, slightly broad in structure, delicate lemon blossom to the finish, but not quite the cut of acidity for structure. 2024–2030 2023 Rieslingfreak No 4 Riesling G 92 This regional Eden Valley offers up pretty and restrained rosewater, spice and mineral aromas with delicacy and detail. Beautifully bright and fresh with zesty, citrus flavours cool and collected in a fine-boned style which This well composed Eden Valley Riesling shows attractive elegance and restraint with layers of medium weight citrus, spicy and gently earthy aromas. There is genuine finesse to follow with fine acidity well placed, topped by chalky bath salt complexity before a lingering silky finish. Drinking well now but has some ageing potential. 2024–2029 2023 Byron & Harold The Partners Riesling G 90 Opens with lemon. Broad palate, slightly hard-edged. Minty overtones. Finishes fresh, but not sufficient structure for drive. Now–2028 2023 Dead Man Walking Clare Valley Riesling G 90 This 2023 Clare Valley Riesling delivers a punchy start with a powerful core of limey, exotic and a touch tropical aromas. A full-flavoured package follows, firm acidity and grip well matched with solid concentration and length. An early drinking style to enjoy over the next three or four years.
