Lifted lemon and lime aromas, hint of preserved lemon. Zesty, tingly acidity, linear and long. Excellent drive and persistence. Classically styled. Now–2033 2023 Rieslingfreak No 2 Riesling G 94 This 2023 Polish Hill River Riesling delivers immediate complexity and generosity of fruit with mandarin skin, nectarine, pear and touches of stony spice providing an impressive start. Great volume of flavour to follow, gentle grip well placed and giving a serious feel supporting its density and shape through to a lengthy finish. Great overall tension will hold this wine in good shape for the cellar over the next decade. 2025–2035 2022 Hutton Vale Farm Riesling G 94 Pale colour. Intense lemon curd, pure lime, tonic water aromas with camomile notes. Fresh lemon glacé, lime pastille flavours, fine lacy textures and lovely pure quartz-like acidity. Finishes with a phenolic twist. Now–2028 2021 Staindl Riesling G 94 Pale colour. Pretty floral, lime, grapefruit, with verbena notes. Beautifully balanced and minerally with fresh lemon curd, lime flavours, touch of camomile, fine lacy textures and long indelible, mouth-watering acidity. Fresh, vibrant and delicious to drink. Some al dente notes at the finish gives lovely textural length. 2023–2028 2023 Rieslingfreak No 3 Riesling G 93 Excellent value here as this Clare Riesling delivers admirable complexity of chalk, citrus, white pepper, and stony complexity delivered with precision and focus. It then builds more exotic layers of musk sticks, lychee and sherbet flavours all kept in line by a bolt of fresh acidity, with excellent volume lingering over a sustained finish. A serious Clare Riesling for a bargain price. Now–2033 2023 Henschke Peggy’s Hill Riesling G 93 Pale colour. Fresh camomile, lemon curd, touch violet aromas with mineral slatey notes. Fresh bright and minerally with attractive lemon curd, grapefruit, camomile flavours, fine lacy textures and long racy acidity. Finishes bittersweet and touch chalky with tonic water notes. Modern Eden Valley Riesling style. Now–2028
