Pale colour. Magnificent violet, spice, camomile, English country garden, Turkish delight, hint ginger aromas. Generous, creamy textured wine with superb spicy ginger musky flavours, fine chalky textures, extraordinary density/fleshiness and well integrated crisp acidity. Wonderfully expressive wine with superb mineral length. 2023–2028 2022 Las Vino Vermentino G 96 Pale colour. Superb and tightly packed aromas of saline, lemon pith and honeydew melon with a subtle nutty underlay. Excellent volume of flavour and texture, this mouthfilling Vermentino delights with a more savoury, nutty palate accented by integrated acidity through to a finish of exceptional length. Now–2032 2022 Coriole Vineyards Rubato Reserve Fiano G 95 Opens with yellow pear, nougat and a hint of toast. Rich and mouth filling with ripe yellow pear, supported by well integrated oak. Round and textured with ginger and nutmeg overtones, leading to a long persistent finish. Now–2032 2021 Flowstone Queen of the Earth Sauvignon Blanc G 95 This beautifully composed Margaret River Sauvignon Blanc has a perfect combination of fruit and oak with its powerful guava, honeydew melon aromas wrapped up in a rich cloak of spicy vanillin oak. Acid-driven in style building layers of complexity through to a lengthy although slightly lean finish. Young and tight, this will be something very special, given time. 2025–2032 2019 Brokenwood Tallawanta Vineyard Semillon G 95 Preserved lemon on the bouquet. Fresh, crisp and linear with piercing lemony acidity, just starting to show a hint of toasty tertiary complexity. Finishes long with excellent persistence. Classic styling. Now–2039 2023 Schwarz Wine Co. Meta Grenache Blanc Opens with white flowers and dried herbs, hint of sage. Fresh, crisp and textured with excellent intensity and drive. Finishes long. Now–2026 G 94
