Richly flavoured, creamy and concentrated wine with abundant stone fruit flavours, attractive nutty tonic water notes and well balanced fresh acidity. Delicious. Drink now–soon. 12.5% alc Voyager Estate G 94+ Voyager Estate Chardonnay 2022 Pale colour. Grapefruit, marzipan, hint roasted chestnut aromas. Supple and pure fruited with grapefruit glacé flavours and underlying roasted chestnut, marzipan notes. Finishes crisp and minerally with al dente textures. Lovely drinking. Drink now–2029 13% alc Howard Park G 94 Allingham Chardonnay 2022 This robust and powerful expression of Margaret River Chardonnay is defined by new oak at this early stage but will all come together, given time. Right now it delivers rich layers of toasty vanillin oak, sweet peach, nectarine with even some more exotic mango in the mix. Mouth-filling flavour although still taut, this is decadent for Margaret River, with subtle smoky/flinty complexity adding finer detail. It’s a wine built for the long haul. Drink 2030–2036 Flowstone G 94 Flowstone Queen of the Earth Chardonnay 2021 Pale colour. Expressive and fresh grapefruit, marzipan, flinty aromas and flavours. Well concentrated wine with lovely bittersweet textures and creamy mid palate. Finishes crisp and minerally. Nicely coiled with lovely tension and vibrancy. Drink now–2030 Oates Ends G 94 Oates Ends Chardonnay 2022 Pale colour. Nectarine, grapefruit aromas with underlying tonic water grilled nut, hint vanilla notes. Well concentrated and minerally with attractive pure grapefruit, white peach nectarine flavours, some tonic water notes, fine lacy bittersweet textures and fresh crisp acidity.
