Moss Wood Pinot Noir 2021 Medium-deep crimson. Very attractive strawberry pastille, red cherry, chinotto aromas and flavours, fine slinky textures, lovely mid palate viscosity and underlying roasted walnut notes. Finishes chalky and minerally with seductive sweet fruits. Early to medium term drinking wine. Drink now–2027 14.5% alc McHenry Hohnen G 92 McHenry Hohnen Tempranillo 2021 The 2021 McHenry Hohnen packs a punch with its layers of old leather and tobacco pouch sitting over a rich core of blackberry aromas. Good definition to follow, compact and muscular with mouth-coating tannins well matched to chocolaty flavours which are a little unusual in Margaret River. The tannins in particular are firm and fine, while the overall package is complex, balanced, and will age surprisingly well. Drink 2026–2033
