Mid crimson. Benchmark Grenache bursting with red cherry, satsuma plum, fennel and coriander seed aromas. Richly flavoured and textured to deliver powerful dark cherry, liquorice, aniseed flavours with fine grainy tannins and underlying oak. Outstanding concentration and sustained length. Now–2035. 15% alc Kalleske Wines Clarry’s GSM 2021 G 95 Deep crimson. Intense and opulent plum jam, blackberry, raspberry aromas and flavours with lovely fruit density, vigorous fine tannins and plentiful liquorice notes. Finishes velvety and minerally. Brilliant value wine. Now–2028. 14.5% alc Kalleske Wines Parallax Grenache 2022 G 95 Light medium crimson. Attractive strawberry rosemary dried roses aromas with herb notes. Surprisingly buoyant and expressive wine with pure strawberry flavours, rosemary and thyme notes, fine lacy textures and persistent minerally acidity. Quartz-like finish. Very singular in style and most intriguing. Not at all mainstream but remarkable aromatics and vinosity. Note the alcohol! Now–keep for a while. 12% alc Krondorf Stone Altar Old Vine Grenache 2021 G 95 Medium colour. Red cherry, red liquorice, musky plum, strawberry aromas. Very attractive strawberry, raspberry pastille, negroni flavours, fresh bittersweet/ lacy tannins and well-integrated roasted walnut notes. Finishes chalky with persistent quartz acidity. Lovely fruit complexity, richness, and vinosity. Now–2028. 14.5% alc Whistler Wines Double Back Grenache 2022 G 95 Medium crimson. Lifted strawberry Campari aromas with herb garden/ chinotto notes. Fresh and complex wine with juicy strawberry, musky plum fruits, lacy hint al dente/ sappy textures and bright acidity. A whip of aniseed at the finish. Early drinking style but impressively balanced wine. Now–keep for a while. 13.9% alc Greenock Creek Cornerstone Grenache 2021 G 95 Medium-deep crimson. Fragrant strawberry, red cherry aromas with hint of bush garrigue. Supple and sweet-fruited with fresh sweet strawberry, red cherry, red plum fruits, fine loose-knit slinky textures, attractive mid- palate viscosity and underlying savoury notes. Finishes crisp and long. Very expressive and delicious early drinking style. Now. 15% alc

Medium-deep crimson. Complex negroni, strawberry, herb aromas with grilled nut notes. Richly flavoured wine with intense strawberry, Campari flavours, fine leafy textures and espresso, roasted almond notes. Finishes firm with a twist of acidity. Whole-bunch characters offset ripe fruit really well. Delicious wine. Now–2028+. 14.5% alc Alkina Polygon No. 5 Grenache G 96 Medium crimson. Intense raspberry, red plum, hint marzipan aromas. Generous and supple with ample red plum, raspberry, redcurrant fruits, superb mid-palate viscosity, fine lacy firm textures and integrated fresh acidity. Finishes bittersweet with rusty firm textures. Superb mineral length. A very good foil to the No. 3. Based on two parcels amounting to roughly 0.37 hectares. 100% whole bunch vinification. Matured in a 500L concrete cylinder for nine months. 595 bottles & 60 magnums made. 2025-2034. 14% alc Arila Gardens Sand Garden Grenache 2021 G 95 Medium-deep crimson. Classical musky plum, strawberry aromas with attractive marzipan notes. Generously concentrated wine with ample musky plum, strawberry, raspberry fruits, slinky tannins, lovely mid- palate viscosity and long fresh juicy acidity. Builds up al dente and crisp at the finish. Now–2034. 14.5% alc Corryton Burge Barossa Grenache 2021 G 95 Medium-deep crimson. Redcurrant, strawberry, dark cherry pastille aromas. Supple and sweet-fruited with ample red berry, strawberry glacé fruits, some red liquorice notes, lovely lacy textures, attractive mid-palate volume and well-integrated acidity. Very high-quality early drinking style. Now–soon. 15% alc Kaesler Wines The Fave Grenache 2022 G 95 Medium crimson. Redcurrant, strawberry, musky plum aniseed aromas. Beautifully balanced, youthful and exuberant wine with fresh strawberry pastille, musky plum fruits, supple graphite tannins, superb viscosity and mineral length. Now–keep for a while. 14.5% alc
