Well concentrated and smooth with inky mulberry, cassis flavours, fine chalky al dente firm tannins and underly savoury nuances. Finishes long with minerally graphite notes. Inky deep wine with dark cherry, dark plum, blackberry, touch apricot/ peppery notes, fine loose-knit chalky firm notes and attractive integrated aniseed notes. Now–2030. 15% alc St Hugo Barossa Shiraz 2020 G 93 Deep crimson. Intense black cherry, aniseed, roasted walnut, praline aromas and flavours, dense chocolaty tannins, attractive mid-palate volume and well-balanced fresh acidity. Finishes bittersweet with attractive mineral length. Lovely drinking style. Now–2028. 14.5% alc Tarrawatta Wines Tarrawatta Godswalk Shiraz Cabernet 2019 G 93 Deep crimson. High-pitched elderberry, blackberry pastille, praline aromas with herb garden notes. Richly flavoured and chocolaty wine with crisp elderberry, blackberry fruits, firm grainy/ grippy tannins, very good volume and well-balanced new cedar oak complexity. Finishes firm and tight. 2025–2035+ Thistledown Wines Bachelors Block Shiraz 2021 G 93 Deep crimson. Fresh dark plum, blackberry, bitter dark chocolate, demi-glace aromas. Richly concentrated dark plum, blackberry pastille, dark chocolate, mocha flavours, fine bittersweet tannins and fresh long integrated acidity. Finish firm and tangy. Now–2034. 14.5% alc St Hallett Blackwell Shiraz G 93 Deep crimson. Fresh blackberry, mulberry aromas with hints of mocha and spice. Well-concentrated palate with ample pure blackberry, mulberry, dark cherry fruits, fine bittersweet/ al dente tannins, pronounced acidity and some savoury complexity. Finishes firm and minerally with inky chinotto notes. Vibrant and juicy with very good density and impact. Would benefit from a touch of bottle age. 2024–2035. 14.5% alc

Fresh blackberry cassis, marzipan aromas with aniseed notes. Supple and juicy with plentiful blackberry cassis cola sage flavours, fine loose-knit chalky/ al dente tannins and some savoury notes.
