Now–2034 Setiono Flaxman Valley Shiraz 2023 G 93 Medium-deep crimson. Fragrant red cherry, strawberry, graphite aromas with sappy/leafy notes. Red cherry, peppery flavours, fine chalky/ leafy textures and balanced but marked acidity. Finishes chalky firm and minerally with sappy/peppery notes. Veers from the mainstream. Conversation wine. Now–2034 Setiono Lowke Shiraz 2022 G 93 Deep crimson. Dark cherry, bitter dark chocolate aromas with marzipan, walnutty notes. Concentrated dark cherry, praline, mocha flavours, chalky firm touch leafy textures and fresh juicy acidity. Chewy at the finish. Structure offset by density and flow. Now–2034 Setiono Lowke Shiraz 2023 G 93 Deep crimson. Intense dark chocolate, raspberry jam, kirsch, negroni aromas. Buoyant raspberry, red cherry pastille, vermouth, Americano flavours, attractive mid-palate volume and al dente chewy textures. Bittersweet, touch astringent finish. Now–2035 Sons of Eden Remus Old Vine Shiraz 2023 G 93 Medium-deep crimson. Spicy, blueberry, chinotto, praline aromas with cedar sage notes. Sweet blueberry, coal, spicy flavours, bittersweet, touch leafy tannins and underlying savoury notes. Now–2034 Thorn-Clarke Wines Shotfire Collectors Heritage Edition Shiraz 2021 G 93 Medium-deep crimson. Dark chocolate, black olive, hint panforte aromas with graphite notes. Richly flavoured wine with ample choco-berry fruits, chocolaty tannins and well-balanced mocha notes. Very good mineral length. Now–2034
