Deep crimson. Black cherry, black olive, hint flinty aromas with praline notes. Supple and sweet-fruited with ample choco-berry fruits, panforte/ spice notes and fresh sinuous chocolaty tannins. Acidity gives tension and mineral length. Now–2040 Hart of the Barossa Ye Brave Shiraz 2022 G 94 Deep crimson. Intense black liquorice, elderberry, blackberry, dark chocolate, black olive aromas and flavours. Richly concentrated with abundant ripe fruit, dense fine chalky tannins and balanced roasted walnut/hazelnut/mocha notes. Gravelly firm with persistent aniseed notes. 1902-planted shiraz vines. Now–2036 Hayes Family Wines Block 15 Shiraz 2024 G 94 Deep crimson. Intense blackberry, marzipan, grilled almond aromas with aniseed, touch wax polish notes. Inky-deep with ample blackberry, cassis, chocolaty flavours, velvety firm textures and balanced toasty oak. Chocolaty at the finish with a tannin plume. A substantial wine. Still in parts but should develop well. Best to keep for a while. 2028–2042 Hayes Family Wines Ebenezer Shiraz 2024 G 94 Deep crimson. Glossy blackberry, graphite, dark chocolate aromas with savoury notes. Fresh ripe blackberry, dark plum touch boysenberry fruits, firm gravelly tannins, some marzipan, touch coconut notes and plentiful crispy/mineral acidity. Now–2036 Heathvale Wines The Angry Rabbit Flip a Coin Shiraz 2025 G 94 Medium-deep crimson. Attractive red cherry, strawberry, raspberry, redcurrant aromas. Generous, fresh and buoyant with plentiful red fruits, some Americano notes and fresh juicy acidity. Exuberant and fun. Great early drinking wine. Now–soon Heathvale Wines The Reward Reserve Shiraz 2020 G 94 Deep crimson. Blackberry pastille, dark chocolate, chinotto aromas with herb garden, hint minty/sage notes. Dense, buoyant and sweet- fruited with blackberry jam flavours and chocolaty/chewy tannins with liquorice/aniseed notes. A jammy dodger. Now–2036
