Deep crimson. Lovely pure blackberry, praline aromas with herb garden aniseed notes. Bittersweet palate with the fine slinky firm touch leafy tannins offsetting the pure ripe dark berry fruits. Cedar and vanilla notes build up towards the finish. Very engaging and pleasurable wine. Now–2038 Kalleske Wines Eduard Shiraz 2023 G 95 Deep crimson. Scented boysenberry, musky plum, blackberry with cedar, spice notes. Generous boysenberry, plummy, blackberry touch dark chocolate flavours, chalky/chocolaty tannins and integrated cedar, marzipan notes. Youthful and exuberant but with the inky density, fruit definition, tannin quality and rhythm to age. 1905–1973-planted shiraz

Deep crimson. Dark chocolate, black cherry marzipan aromas with graphite notes. Beautifully concentrated and flavourful with sweet black cherry, cassis fruits, loose-knit chalky/chocolaty textures and underlying marzipan, vanilla oak notes. Bittersweet chocolaty finish. Densely concentrated and richly flavoured with lovely underlying sinuous structure. Now–2042 Langmeil Winery The Freedom 1843 Shiraz 2023 G 95 Deep crimson. Blackberry, musky plum, graphite, smoky/incense aromas. Generously concentrated, velvety and tangy with ample blackberry, plum, praline, panforte flavours and underlying smoky/ roasted almond, vanilla notes. Finishes chocolaty firm and long with a graphite plume. Pretty good. Now–2042 Laughing Jack Wines Limited Two Shiraz 2022 G 95 Deep crimson. Intense blackberry, Americano/chinotto aromas. Concentrated blackberry jam/juicy raspberry, choco flavours, dense chalky tannins and integrated roasted chestnut, marzipan notes. Finishes chocolaty with hints of liquorice and spice. Now–2036
