Mid-yellow. Alluring aromas of honeyed toast, lemon curd, creme brûlée, citrus and baked spiced apple. Youthful and vibrant to taste with a rare energy for its age combining a tangy acid drive amid lemon sherbet, citrus intensity, spiced apple, pear and enveloping honeysuckle aromatics. Warm and toasty with a developing honey-ness, finishes on a bright sherbet note. Now–2048 Henschke Julius Riesling 2025 G 96 Pale colour. Pure lemon curd, tonic water aromas with hints of verbena. Generous lemon curd, lime, verbena flavours, fine chalky textures, attractive mid-palate volume and fresh long indelible/crunchy acidity. Lovely mineral length. Tightly structured and generously flavoured. Delicious drinking but keep for a while to allow the elements to fold and develop. 11.7% alc Now–2038 Ms. L Wines Eden Valley Single Vineyard Riesling 2025 G 96 Pale lemon. Immediately intense and a little wild in the very best sense. Concentrated crisp green apple, lightly spiced Asian pear, citrus, lime juice, wildflowers, stony and mineral flecked. An enveloping and elevated citrus intensity lights the palate against a bracing, tingly fresh acidity. Now–2035 Penfolds Bin 51 Eden Valley Riesling 2026 G 96 Pale colour. Fresh limes, grapefruit and tonic water aromas with flinty nuances. Very expressive palate with ample citrus, grapefruit, ripe red apple flavours, lovely mid-palate volume, light chalky textures and persistent crunchy acidity. Minerally and fruit-sweet at the finish. Early picked style with superb purity of fruit, generosity and line. Delicious and refreshing early to mid-term drinking. Drink now – 2030+. 11.5% alc
