A Barossa old school, classic variety that brings a lively, grapey sweet freshness to the glass. Wildflower floral aromas mix with citrus blossom, fresh cut grapes and citrus. Easy-going all the way on a bed of zippy acidity, and with it are notes of baked apple, pear and spice. Good drinking now. Now–2029 St Hugo Chardonnay 2025 G 90 Pale lemon. Simple, well-captured expression of fruit-driven chardonnay in yellow peach, nectarine, citrus, lime skin and light spice. Nicely balanced, ripe and fleshy on the palate resting on crisp acidity.
