Henschke Noble Semillon 2023

G 91

Pale colour. Expressive apricot, sweet pear, flinty/burnt match aromas with some honeyed notes. Buoyant and sweet with ample apricot, stone fruit, honey, flinty flavours, loose knit chalky textures, superb mid-palate volume/sucrosity and long fresh mineral/saline acidity. Some woodfire notes at the finish. Interesting to see how this develops as still in parts. Best to keep for a while. 8.5% alc 124 g/l sugar Now–2038 Stage Door Wine Co. Grüner Veltliner 2024 G 91 Mid-yellow. Texturally assured, and equally assured in varietal integrity. Spiced apple, vibrant lemon, ruby grapefruit, mandarin, light spices incorporating white pepper. Rolls across the tongue, texturally warm and creamy, peppery spice aromatics in tow with citrus, baked apple, green pear fed by a brisk acidity. The finish helps seal what is a very appealing food-friendly style of wine, rising on a note of spiced apple and citrus zest. Now–2030 Thorn-Clarke Wines Varietal Collection Chardonnay 2024 G 91 Bright lemon. Fresh and lively in spring flowers, citrus blossom, white peach and stone fruits. Nicely textural and free-flowing in citrus and stone fruits and the gentlest of spices. Palate embraces the spice and citrus, stone fruits and peach custard creaminess and finishes on a warming, textural note. Now–2029

White Gate Wine Co. Grenache Blanc 2025

Pale lemon. Combines the best of both worlds of texture and spice and liveliness with citrus energy and a robust acidity. Aromas of preserved lemon, citrus, grapefruit and light spice on the palate mix with a bright acidity and citrus lime brightness to close. Now–2028 Camino Wine Co. Camino Rosé Grenache 2025 G 90 Pale salmon. Light aromatics of dusty spice, earth, cherry, confection. Decidedly light and earthy with a cherry pip dryness and lively acidity that helps drive the wine through to the finish. Now–2028
