Mid-yellow. A complex, youthful roussanne that is still in building mode with peach, melon, spiced apple, pear, citrus and sweet caramel and toasty oak. A sweetly spiced nutty complexity follows on the palate, which runs texturally creamy before ending on a brisk note of acidity. Now–2037 Schubert Estate Le Jars Blanc Viognier 2025 G 93 Pale colour. Pure lemon curd, apricot aromas with tonic water aromas. Generous apricot, white peach flavours, ample tonic water notes, al dente textures and fresh minerally acidity. Saline/brine like nuances. Now– 2030 Schwarz Wine Co. The Grower Chenin Blanc 2025 G 93 Mid-yellow. Tidy and composed in citrus and waxy aromas, apple, grass, deep herbals, gentle florals and almond. Brings a lovely richness to the palate, warm in texture, ringing in spice among the fruits and grassy notes with an emerging almond-style savouriness. Good drinking right now and into the immediate future. Now–2031 Torbreck The Steading Blanc Roussanne, Marsanne, Viognier 2025 G 93 Pale colour. Intense lemon curd, flinty, tonic water aromas with herb notes. Supple and generously concentrated lemon curd, verbena flavours and slinky/chalky textures. Some al dente notes. Ready to drink, possessing definition with energy and flow. 60% roussanne, 37% marsanne, 3% viognier. Now–2030 Chaffey Bros. Wine Co. Not Your Grandma’s Rosé Grenache/Mourvèdre 2026 G 92 Pale pink. Fresh, vibrant energy on the bouquet in pressed flowers, cranberry, wild strawberry, peony florals. Falls ever so nicely in place on the palate with a lovely aromatic, floral flow amid wild forest berries, cherries and strawberries with earthy spice. So clean and brisk in acidity, with a decisive bright finish. Energy to go and go. Now–2030 Eden Hall Grüner Veltliner 2025 G 92 Pale lemon. Lifted aromas of spiced apple, baked pear, melon, earth. Shows a youthful, bright acidity and a developing smooth texture with flavours brimming in apple and spiced pear with light herbals. Finishes on a bright tangy citrus note. Now–2031
