A touch of torque at the finish. Racy and refined wine with superb length. Let it age for a year. Drink 2025–2035 12.5% alc Dandelion Vineyards Wonderland of the Eden Valley Riesling 2024 Pale colour, green hue. Immediate elegance – beautifully perfumed, pure lemon, lime aromas with slatey nuances and a hint of white floral. Zingy acidity, well-concentrated lemon lime flavours, grapefruit pith – appealing line of purity. Refined poise and fruit clarity carried by chalky phenolics. Textural with a sweet–sour finish. Drink now–2034 11.5% alc Henschke Peggy’s Hill Riesling, Eden Valley 2024 Pale colour. Fragrant bitter lemon, hint grapefruit aromas with herb oil notes. Fresh lemon, lime, grapefruit flavours, fine loose knit bitter textures, attractive mid palate volume and fresh long crunchy mouthwatering acidity. Finishes bittersweet. Textural and high tensile with very good density and flow. Could benefit from a few years of bottle age. Drink now – or keep for a while (2034+). 11.5% alc 93 points Hentley Farm Mt Crawford Riesling 2023 Pale colour with straw hue. Elegantly perfumed lime, lemon bitters, slatey aromas with a hint of ginger and verbena. Lovely freshness with pure lemon, lime and tonic water flavours. Sherbet acidity, good mineral length complemented by an appealing powdery finish. Drink now–2032 11% alc Jacob’s Creek Survivor Vines Riesling 2023 Pale colour, hint of straw. Beautifully perfumed and bright, with lemon, quince, orange blossom and slatey notes. Well concentrated with appealing fruit sweetness; lemon pith, lime juice, green apple and faint hint of spice. An elegant wine with mid-palate fullness complemented by a pleasing chalky finish. Drink now–2034
