Pale, almost watery colour. Lovely intense and lifted lime zest, lemon curd, mandarin, orange blossom aromas. Classical lime pastille, lemon curd, touch camomile, hint ginger flavours, fine loose-knit chalky textures and fresh long pure quartz acidity. Finishes al dente and minerally. Beautifully balanced and flavourful wine with lovely fruit definition and purity. Should develop well with bottle age. A linear, fresh wine with excellent concentration – pure lemon, lime carried by coiled acidity. A wine of poise and lovely freshness bound by appealing phenolic structure. Drink now–2036 11.5% alc Eden Hall Reserve Riesling 2023 Pale straw colour. Aromatic lemon curd, kaffir lime, stone fruit, camomile and hints of white blossom. Lovely fruit purity, pure lemon, lime, sherbet, hint of verbena and mineral finish. Appealing mid-weight palate and mouth-watering acidity – a textural wine with very good length. Drink now–2038 11.6% alc Poonawatta The Eden Riesling 2021 Pale golden green hue. Aromatic oil skin notes, lemon curd, pine-lime, ginger bread, tonic water and toasty notes with a hint of verbena. Well balanced with generous fruit richness, lemon curd, tonic water, honeyed toast and marzipan flavours. Silky acidity, expressive and textured with loose-knit powdery texture.
