Inky deep and densely packed wine with ample dark berry/dark chocolate fruits, plentiful gravelly tannins and well-balanced mocha, cedar oak/liquorice notes. Grippy claret finish. Drink now–2032 15% alc Z Wine Hedley Shiraz 2022 Medium-deep crimson. Fresh red cherry, red plum, cola aromas and flavours, fine slinky/graphite textures, very good mid-palate viscosity and mineral length. Expressive and vigorous fruit-driven wine. Drink now–2028 14.5% alc Z Wine Julius Shiraz 2022 Medium-deep crimson. Intense dark chocolate, blackberry hint graphite aromas with hint violet notes. Well concentrated wine with blackberry, raspberry fruits, some camomile notes, grainy firm textures and savoury nuances. Some chinotto notes at the finish. Drink now–2028. 14.5% alc. Deep crimson. Intense choco-berry liquorice aromas with hunts of mocha. Sweet touch smoky dark chocolate, dark berry, mocha flavours and chocolaty firm chewy tannins. Underlying aniseed notes lengthen the palate. A touch of heat at the finish. Drink now–keep for a while. 14.5% alc Grant Burge Filsell Shiraz 2022 Deep crimson. Intense raspberry, blackberry aromas with inky hint vanilla notes. Smooth and velvety wine with ample raspberry, cassis fruit and fine-grained tannins. Firms up at the finish with fresh indelible acidity. Drink now–2030 Barossa Boy Double Trouble Shiraz Cabernet 2022 Deep crimson. Black cherry, marzipan, touch minty aromas. Full bodied and densely concentrated wine with abundant choco-berry, minty flavours, chocolaty textures and some cedar/marzipan notes. A tannin slick at the finish with plentiful juicy fruits.
