Deep crimson. Intense dark cherry, dark chocolate, mocha, roasted walnut, panforte aromas. Generously proportioned wine with ample choco-berry fruits, plentiful panforte, raisin, roasted walnut, marzipan notes and fresh ripe tannins. Some tobacco leaf notes at the finish. Complex and ready to drink. Drink now–2030 15.5% alc Seppeltsfield Shiraz 2022 Deep crimson. Dark chocolate, dark cherry flinty aromas with some roasted walnut notes. Velvety textured wine with lovely pure dark berry fruits, chocolaty tannins and underlying savoury notes. Finishes claret firm with bittersweet/chinotto notes. Drink now–2034 14.5% alc Soul Growers Provident Shiraz 2023 Medium-deep crimson. Raspberry, redcurrant, hint mocha aromas and flavours, supple ripe tannins and some mocha/espresso complexity. Chocolaty finish with juicy fruit notes. Buoyant and vibrant wine. Drink now–2028 14% alc St Hugo Wines Koch Shiraz 2022 Deep crimson. Dark cherry, smoked bacon, meaty aromas with marzipan notes. Generously concentrated wine with fresh dark berry fruits, some smoky/meaty notes and fine chocolaty/al dente firm textures. Some black olive, marzipan notes at the finish. Needs some extra bottle age to settle down, but should come together. Drink 2026–2036. Welland Old Hands Shiraz 2021 Medium-deep crimson. Fresh blackberry, cassis aromas with vanilla, mocha, shellac notes. Richly concentrated with blackberry, mocha, vanilla marzipan flavours, fine chocolaty textures, attractive mid-palate volume and fresh long acidity. Drink now–2030 14.5% alc
