Medium-deep crimson. Fresh dark cherry, elderberry, plum, black olive, amazing graphite, herb garden notes. Dark elderberry, black cherry, chinotto, black olive fruits, lead pencil notes, fine slinky tannins and well- balanced crunchy acidity. Some al dente textures at the finish. Attractive inky density and juicy dark berry fruits. Ready to drink but should further harmonise over the next few years. 75% Shiraz, 25% Mataro. 10 months’ maturation in 3% new French oak and 97% seasoned oak hogsheads. Drink now–2028 + 14.5% alc Château Tanunda Terroirs of the Barossa Eden Valley Shiraz 2022 Medium-deep crimson. Intense blackberry, dark liquorice aromas with roasted walnut notes. Inky deep wine with pure blackberry, hint tobacco, aniseed flavours and fine slinky textures. Voluminous with ample fruit sweetness and vigour. Black liquorice at the finish. Touch sweet. Drink now–2032 14.9% alc Eden Hall Block 4 Shiraz 2021 Deep crimson. Black olive, dark berry, hint bush garrigue aromas with some dark chocolate notes. Glossy and seductive with sweet dark berry/ dark chocolate/vanilla flavours, dense ripe tannins, attractive mid- palate volume and fresh pure acidity. Finishes minerally and long with liquorice notes. Single vineyard wine. Drink now–2030 14.5% alc First Drop Wines Mother’s Milk Shiraz 2022 Deep crimson. Intense black cherry, boysenberry hint walnut liquorice aromas. Juicy and richly flavoured with lovely fresh blackberry, black cherry, boysenberry fruits, sinuous chalky tannins and a long thread of aniseed. Delicious early drinking wine. Drink now–soon-ish 14.5% alc Hare’s Chase Vigilance Shiraz 2021 Deep crimson. Intense bouquet of eucalypt, vanillin, cedar and baked blackberries. Full-bodied with lashings of blackberry and vanillin, plush tannins and bright blueberry, mulberry fruit to the finish. An old-school style, offering power and intensity. Drink now–2031 14.5% alc
