Deep crimson. Attractive musky plum, black cherry, hint oyster shell aromas. Inky textured and smooth wine with supple black cherry musky plum, aniseed flavours, fine loose-knit slinky tannins and well-balanced roasted walnut/savoury notes. Bittersweet, tangy and lacy textured at the finish with liquorice nuances. Drinking very well now–2028 14.3% alc Barons of Barossa Triplex Grenache 2021 Medium crimson. Lifted, red cherry pastille, raspberry, graphite with a hint of sundried tomato and meaty note. Generously flavoured wine, buoyant with smooth strawberry, raspberry and musky plum flavours. Appealing fruit sweetness with al dente tannins, sherbet acidity and a fresh chalky finish. Drink now–2032 14.5% alc Bethany Blue Quarry Grenache 2022 Medium deep crimson. Intense dark cherry, dried herb aromas with earth and spice notes. Generously flavoured with very good mid-palate volume and firm yet fine tannins wiht impressive potential. Drink 2026 – 2032 14.5% First Drop Wines The Matador Grenache 2022 Deep crimson. Fresh strawberry minty aromas with herb notes. Supple and sweet-fruited with strawberry, red cherry fruits, a touch of mint, attractive mid-palate viscosity and fine loose-knit chalky textures. A touch of aniseed at the finish. Drinking well. Drink 2024–2028 14.5% alc Kalleske Wines Old Vine Grenache 2022 Medium-deep crimson, Attractive raspberry strawberry, sarsaparilla aromas with hints of ginger and spice. Supple and a touch sweet with ample pure raspberry, strawberry fruits, generous mid-palate volume and sinuous loose-knit lacy textures. Sweet liquorice/peppery finish.
