Deep crimson. Intense ripe plum, strawberry hint negroni aromas with some dark chocolate spice notes. Superbly concentrated and flavourful wine with abundant strawberry pastille, raspberry, red plum flavours, lovely mid-palate viscosity and fine slinky firm tannins. Bittersweet with a touch of vigour at the finish. A brilliant wine! Drink now–or keep for a while 14% alc Cirillo 1850 Grenache 2018 Medium-deep crimson. Fresh red plum, strawberry with chinotto, touch negroni notes. Attractive sweet red plum strawberry negroni flavours, lovely mid-palate volume, fine slinky textures and fresh long acidity. Delicious wine. Lovely richness and extract. A reference style for the Barossa. 1848 Grenache vines. Drink 2030–2042 13.9% alc Château Tanunda 150 Year Old Vines Grenache 2019 Medium crimson, Attractive musky red plum, strawberry aromas with some savoury notes. Beautifully concentrated and complex with supple red berry fruits, slinky textures, lovely mid-palate viscosity and fresh long acidity. A touch of aniseed at the finish. Drink now–2029 14.5% alc Langmeil The Fifth Wave Grenache 2022 Medium-deep crimson. Intense musky plum, violet aromas with some roasted hazelnut notes. Slinky and animated wine with lovely musky red plum, red cherry, sweet strawberry glacé notes and well balanced chalky textures. Finishes crunchy, hint peppery and pure. Super wine with seductive pure red berry fruits, sinuous textures and impressive mineral length. Drink now–2027 14.8% alc
