Generous and velvety smooth with buoyant red and dark fruits, fine chocolaty textures and underlying espresso, dark chocolate flavours with a minerally finish. Highly individual and worth tracking down. Drink now–2028 Bethany First Village Grenache 2019 G 95 Medium-deep crimson. Attractive raspberry, strawberry aromas with underlying mocha notes. Well-concentrated palate with ripe raspberry, strawberry, musky plum fruits, fine slinky textures, attractive mid-palate viscosity and fresh long mineral acidity. Finishes chalky firm with some aniseed notes. Very expressive and classic. Drink now–2028
