Deep crimson. Lifted black olive, iodine, dark cherry, graphite, liquorice aromas with hints of amontillado/ wood varnish. Voluminous dark cherry, blackberry fruits, plentiful graphite liquorice notes, fine plentiful graphite/ rusty tannins and integrated mocha, hint cedar notes. Finishes claret form with persistent inky graphite notes. Very complex with a ferruginous kick. 17 months in American and French oak, 100% new.
