Purple Hands Grenache 2020

Medium-deep crimson. Intense camomile, raspberry, redcurrant, light pepper aromas. Squashy and supple wine with raspberry, redcurrant, walnutty flavours, fine loose-knit chalky textures and fresh long acidity. Finishes minerally, slightly tarry and long. Delicious to drink, but probably not a keeper. Now-2025 Tim Smith Grenache 2020 G 90 Medium-deep crimson. Floral, plum, liquorice aromas with some roasted walnut, brambly notes. Complex and developed dark plum, liquorice, walnutty flavours and fine chalky/ grippy textures. Finishes chalky firm with sweet fruit, earthy, woody notes. Now-2026 A reserved and brooding style of Grenache with rich dark berry fruits plus touches of spice and old oak in the background. The palate follows suit with a firm, dry red style with robust tannins and dense dark fruits finsihing with good lenth. It needs a little time to flesh out for optimal drinking. 2022-2025 Orlando Wines Cellar 13 Grenache 2020 G 90 Corryton Burge Grenache 2020 G 90 Medium crimson and shows gentle, supple redcurrant, red plum fruits with herb garden savoury notes. Lovely fresh and bright palate with ripe redcurrant, plum and fine loose-knit slippery textures. Medium-powered and made for early drinking. Now-2026 Teusner Wines The Grenache Grenache 2021 G 90 Medium crimson. An exuberant and expressive young grenache with high-pitched red cherry, raspberry fruits, fine supple textures and juicy fresh acidity. Simple and easy to drink, this is a drink-young style done well. Now-soon
