Generous supple and inky with ample dark and red berry fruits, fine supple chalky tannins, very good mid-palate viscosity and underlying roasted walnut complexity. Finishes chalky firm and minerally. %14 alc Paxton EJ Shiraz 2012 G 93 1887 vines. Medium deep crimson. Evolved wax polish, dark chocolate, chestnut liquorice aromas. Richly developed wax polish, choco-berry flavours, fine chocolaty/ gritty tannins and touch of marzipan oak notes. Finishes claret firm. 14% alc Paxton EJ Shiraz 2005 G 94 1887 vines. Medium deep crimson Complex dark berry tobacco, dark chocolate aromas. Supple and sweet fruited with developed choco-berry fruits, lovely chocolaty textures, touch al dente/ ferruginous notes. Finishes chocolaty firm and minerally. In very good shape. 14% alc Kay Brothers Block 6 Shiraz 2004 G 95 1892 vines. Medium deep crimson. Complex blackberry pastille, tobacco leaf, mocha, marzipan aromas. Richly concentrated with deep set dark chocolate, blackberry, blackcurrant fruits, fine grainy tannins, with some rusty/ ironstone notes. Finishes claret firm with a lick of liquorice. Beautiful wine. 14.9% alc Richard Hamilton Centurion Old Vine Shiraz 2003 G 93 1892 vines. Medium deep crimson. Fresh espresso, red currant, black cherry fruits with mocha notes. Inky wine with plentiful red currant, black cherry, dark chocolate flavours, fine al dente, grainy textures with some sappy notes. Finishes long and sweet with very good density and torque. 14% alc
