Bastor Lamontagne 94–95 Pale-medium colour. Very attractive honey, peach, apricot aromas with hint marzipan notes. Well concentrated with ample stone fruit honey flavours, lovely suppleness and viscosity, well balanced marzipan/ vanilla oak notes and fresh long pure acidity. A touch of aniseed at the finish. Semillon, Sauvignon Blanc. 30% new oak. Doisy Védrines 94–95 Pale-medium colour. Intense nectarine apricot verbena touch honey aromas and flavours, attractive fine lacy textures, lovely mid palate viscosity, underlying vanilla, nougat notes and linear fresh indelible acidity. Semillon, Sauvignon Blanc, Sauvignon Gris, Muscadelle. 30% new oak. Sigalas Rabaud 93–94 Medium-pale colour. Dried apricot, nectarine aniseed aromas with honey notes. Rich and voluminous on the palate with supple apricot, nectarine, aniseed flavours, fine lacy textures and some bittersweet notes. Slinky and long at the finish. Semillon, Sauvignon Blanc. 25% new oak. Haut-Peyraguey 92–93 Pale-medium colour. Lemon curd, honey vanilla, touch orange peel aromas and flavours, fine chalky/bittersweet textures, attractive mid palate density and long refreshing acidity. Semillon, Sauvignon Blanc. 30–40% new oak. de Rayne Vigneau 91–92 Pale-medium colour. Intense lemon glacé, apricot, honey, banana aromas. Quite thick and gluggy on the palate, with deep-set sweet apricot honey nougat flavours and soft mineral acidity. Semillon, Sauvignon Blanc, with a miniscule parcel of Muscadelle. 30% new oak. Broustet 90–91 Pale-medium colour. Intense citrus, lemon curd, grapefruit apricot aromas and flavours, some bittersweet textures, a touch of pear drop, very good density and fresh crunchy long acidity. Semillon, Sauvignon Blanc, Muscadelle. 40% new oak.
