Meyney 91–92 Deep crimson colour. Blackcurrant, black olive herb garden aromas. Supple and sweet fruited, inky parma violet. Supple sweet tannins, lovely volume and mineral length. Quite soft and fleshy. Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Petit Verdot. Ormes de Pez 91–92 Deep crimson colour. Elderberry, dark plum, dark cherry aromas with hints of vanilla/nougat. Dense almost soupy textured wine with fresh elderberry, dark berry vanilla marzipan flavours, fresh velvety/chocolaty tannins and well integrated mineral acidity. Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot. 45% new oak.
